Reach Can Be Bought. Historical Data Can’t.
If every creator campaign starts from zero, here is what you actually get: the same guesses with a different creator list.
Forbes recently examined why the creator economy’s next competitive advantage is not access to more creators or more reach. It is the historical campaign data brands and agencies have already earned—and whether they captured it well enough to use. Every creator pairing, price point, format and business outcome becomes evidence that can make the next campaign smarter.
“Data underscores everything we do. Proprietary data is the difference-maker.”
AI Isn’t the Moat. The Data Feeding It Is.
Anyone can access an AI model. Not everyone can feed it years of structured creator performance tied to actual outcomes.
A generic model can draft a brief, summarize a channel and generate a plausible creator list. It cannot recreate what thousands of previous partnerships taught you about who converts, what they should cost and which audiences actually move. That knowledge has to be earned—one campaign at a time.
Reach can be rented again tomorrow. Historical learning cannot.
